Blair Walliser papers, 1933-1955.

Papers of radio and television writer-producer-director Blair Walliser, consisting mainly of scripts, story outlines and synopses for radio comedies and dramas, and clippings from Chicago newspapers' coverage of the programs, many of which were produced for WGN. Titles represented in the collection include: "The Coronet Story Teller" (which has an extensive outline series), "Harold Teen," "Easy Money," "Great Artists" (scripts are written by members of the Illinois Writers Project, including Louis "Studs" Terkel), "Peter Quill," and "The Romance of Helen Trent." Photographs are three photos from "Harold Teen."
